Kilwins Chocolates in Saugatuck

OMG, loved my Jamaican server. He was hilarious! Loved sampling the chocolate! What a treat! Can't eat too much b/c I don't tolerate dairy. But they had amazing lemon sobetto! It was creamy, really delicious and so satisfying. Thank you for giving those with restricted diets options.

Visited Saugatuck MI with my husband on my birthday. Extremely crowded everywhere we went. Didn't stop me from going to Kilwins to buy their handmade Mackinaw Island fudge!!! Perfection!! I bought 3 slices - Turtle, Peanut butter and Vanilla Walnut. The have an enormous amount of different handmade candies. You can't possibly walk out empty-handed!

Too expensive for a single scoop, for the price I can get twice or more for less money even in Chicago. Not impressed. No social distancing in the store🤔😷🇺🇸

Whenever my family and I take a trip to Saugatuck a stop at Kilwin's is always a must. Good ice cream and even better fudge! Yummers!

Very helpful worker assisting me in my choices. The fudge melted in my mouth and the caramel apple was large and sinful.

The ice cream was pretty good, though a bit pricey for what you get. The cone in the picture was a scoop of chocolate and a scoop of cappuccino and came to almost 10 dollars. Definitely not an every day treat but sure hit the spot on a hot summers day. The shop was very busy, which made navigating a little challenging. I think it would help if they have a list of all the ice cream flavors posted somewhere so people didnt have to go walking back and forth between the 4 or 5 ice cream cases to see what flavors were available.

The best ice cream In the world. No exaggeration.Better than Graeter’s in Cincinnati or Mitchell’s in Cleveland. Don’t visit Saugatuck without stopping here if you love ice cream.

Should probably update your hours.. came all the way into town Because it said you were open. Multiple people outside were in the same boat.

In business since 1947, this is a cornerstone confectionery in the heart of Saugatuck. There is hand making on the premise on large marble tables - caramel corn, fudge, dipped chocolates and more. Rather pricey but handmade is rare these days.

One of the worker name Oliver serviced us, his customer service was not good and he over charged us for something that we did not purchase. I am wondering how many other people they have been over charging.

My ice cream was absolutely delicious. I had two scoops of the salted caramel yummy! I was tasting a different flavor, t was so good that it jumped up out of my mouth As I was sampling it. But the server was so nice or not embarrassing me. LOL

Vacation + Ice Cream = Kilwin's. You just can't go wrong here. Yes, you'll have to wait, but the wait is so worth it, who wouldn't enjoy the aromas of this amazing little shop while you wait. Yes, it's a little pricier than some places, but this is some of the best ice cream you'll ever have & it's worth a couple extra bucks.. Delicious ice cream, in a variety of wonderful flavors. Today's cup included dips of Coconut + Kilwin's Tracks, and my mouth is watering now remembering it. Thank you Kilwin's, keep doing the wonderful things you do, I'll be back.

Service was ok. Prices are crazy! $10 for a root beer float that is a can of pop and vanilla ice cream.

This is a must-see when in Saugatuck. The fridge is fabulous as is their iced cream! These make a great souvenir of your stay.

It was fun the kids enjoyed watching the Carmel apples being made.

We always love Kilwin's. They were short on fudge but the ice cream was fantastic. We always appreciate enjoying quality ice cream on a warm summer day. They were organized and maintained masks and 6 feet distance when serving. The only issue was the wife's waffle cone leaking. Lick faster! Haha!

Extremely rude. Service was sub par, and the cashier that took me and my son's sundae order overcharged us $2.75. when I pointed it out they argued with me for at least 5 minutes and then realized their error. I said it would be nice if you apologized. She just said whatever and finally gave me the right change.

Full disclosure, I'm from Cincinnati and I am totally partial to Graters icecream. The prices were very high, but the ice cream had a fuller flavor than I was expecting. The Cappuccino Chip and Toasted Coconut Chip were very good. The serving was larger than I was expecting for the 5.50 one dip price.

Lots of selections of great home made sweets including caramel apples and caramel covered cookies. Awesome ice cream and fudge complete the sugarfest! You will love it and so will your sweet tooth!

Pretty overpriced and the service was really slow. $18 for a cone and a bowl and it took about 10 minutes for just my order and I didn't get anything fancy (no toppings just scoops of ice cream) it didn't taste bad but it wasn't worth $18

Ohhh what can I say?..... if you're an avid lover of fudge or just have a plain old sweet tooth, then you definitely need swing by this sweet place for sure. My biggest recommendation would be the turtle fudge or the German chocolate cake fudge. A definite must stop and get of a place.

Not impressed. The manager yelled at me the moment I walked in the door to put my mask on. The staff could not tell me how much a scoop of ice cream costs. As I was ordering, the manager yelled at me again to put my mask on again, in which it was on, I had just pulled it down to order. The cost was really high. More than 6.00 dollars for one scoop of ice cream in a sugar cone. I will not be back. Not a positive experience.

All things fattening under one roof - fudge, ice cream, gourmet popcorn and candy. Great varieties, but be careful with the popcorn. The larger bags of the deluxe chocolate striped popcorn is $35.95 a bag. There are other bags that cost $14.95 and it is easy to get mixed up and spend $100 on popcorn before you know it. Fudge is handmade, and there are several flavors of ice cream including superman.
